The service operates from Wilson Airport across four main corridors: Mount Kenya, Western, Northern/Frontier, and Coastal.
How fast is the delivery? Is it truly Same-Day?
Yes — for all destinations within operational range. There are two daily departure slots from Wilson Airport:
6:30 AM – Rift Valley (Lodwar, Kakuma, Lokichogio), Northern Eastern (Garissa, Wajir, Mandera), Mt Kenya (Nyeri, Nanyuki, Isiolo, Marsabit)
2:00 PM – Coast (Mombasa, Lamu, Malindi, Ukunda, Voi), Rift Valley (Eldoret, Bungoma, Kakamega), Nyanza (Kisumu, Migori, Homabay)
Parcels must be booked and ready before the relevant departure time.
What type of cargo can be shipped?
Aerosim handles a wide range of cargo types including:

What Aircraft are used and how much load can they cary?
The primary fleet consists of Cessna 310R aircraft (5Y-AYZ, 5Y-AZS) — twin-engine planes with a cruise speed of 190 knots and a range of 1,000 nautical miles, suitable for short-haul urgent deliveries. For larger loads, Aerosim can lease 2 Cessna Caravans (higher payload) and a Short 360 for bulk parcel transport. Payloads range from 600 kg to 1,800 kg depending on aircraft type.
How is my parcel handled from pick up to delivery?
The end-to-end process works as follows:
Booking & Dispatch: The ground team processes and loads parcels onto the aircraft within hours of booking.
Flight: Cargo departs on the scheduled flight to the destination airstrip.
Proof of Delivery: A duty pilot and F.O.O on duty sign off on delivery after unloading and handing over to the consignee.
All steps are documented on the official Cargo Manifest (Form 1A).
How is Pricing Calculated?
Pricing is zone-based and weight-based. The base rate covers 0–5 kg, with additional charges per extra kg.
What are the payment Terms?
Aerosim offers flexible payment arrangements:
Pre-dispatch payment — pay before the shipment departs
Weekly billing — settled at the end of each week
Monthly billing — for established corporate accounts, by agreement
A deposit may be required for high-volume shipments. The specific terms are agreed upon during the contract finalisation stage.
What documentation is required to ship a parcel?
Each shipment requires a completed Cargo Manifest (Form 1A), which captures:
Shipper name, phone, and collection point
Consignee name and destination
Description of goods, number of packages, gross weight, and volume
Dangerous Goods Declaration (if applicable) — Type/Class, UN Number, and Packaging
Special cargo flags: Live Animals, Perishables, High-Value, Fragile/Oversized
Signatures from Client, F.O.O on Duty, and Lorry Driver at dispatch
Flight details and Duty Pilot sign-off at loading
Proof of Delivery signatures at destination
Each manifest carries a unique AWB No./Ref for tracking purposes.
Are there discounts for regular or bulk shipments?

What happens if my cargo is lost or damag
All transported parcels are fully insured against loss or damage under Aerosim's comprehensive insurance policies. The company operates in full compliance with KCAA regulations, which also govern safety and liability standards. In the event of an issue, clients should contact the team directly with the AWB No./Ref from their Cargo Manifest (Form 1A).
Can my company brand be placed on the aircraft?
Yes — this is one of Aerosim's unique partnership perks. Clients have the opportunity to feature their corporate colours and logo on the aircraft as part of the Aircraft Branding and SDD (Same Day Delivery) programme. This is offered to strengthen the partnership and give clients full visibility of their brand in the skies across Kenya.
